Overview

PlayerDesk ("we," "us," or "our") operates the court booking platform at playerdesk.net. PlayerDesk is a DBA of Flying Banana Productions LLC. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when creating an account or using our services:

  • Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password
  • Booking data — court reservations, scheduling preferences, and booking history
  • Club membership — venue affiliations, membership tier, and role within your organization
  • Communications — messages sent through the platform and support requests
  • Usage data — device type, browser, IP address, and interaction logs collected automatically

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and operate the court booking platform and related services
  • Send booking confirmations and service updates through the platform, plus account notifications via email and SMS
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
  • Improve our platform through aggregated, anonymized usage analysis

SMS Communications

PlayerDesk operates two independent SMS programs. You may be enrolled in either, both, or neither, and consent to one never implies consent to the other.

If you provide a mobile phone number and either opt in to PlayerDesk recurring account-security SMS on the website or directly request a one-time code, PlayerDesk may send you text messages through the PlayerDesk Member Authentication SMS program. PlayerDesk sends service-related text messages for account signup verification, account sign-in, SMS two-factor authentication, and phone verification. Message frequency varies based on how often you sign up, sign in, complete SMS 2FA, or verify your phone number. Message and data rates may apply. Separately, if you opt in to booking-notification SMS, PlayerDesk may send you text messages through the PlayerDesk Member Booking Notifications program. PlayerDesk sends member booking notifications by SMS for created, cancelled, and modified reservations, and for optional pre-reservation reminders configured by each venue. Messages may include a direct PlayerDesk link back to the member's authenticated venue page so the member can review or manage current bookings. Message frequency varies by your booking activity at each venue and the venue’s reminder configuration (up to two reminders per booking). Message and data rates may apply. These messages may include direct links back to your authenticated PlayerDesk venue page so you can review or manage current bookings. You can opt out of either program at any time by texting STOP to any message in that program, or by changing your preferences in account settings. See our Terms of Service for full SMS program details.

Your phone number is used solely for delivering requested service-related booking notifications and account-security messages, and for storing your SMS consent and preference settings. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted vendors who help operate our platform (e.g., email delivery, SMS delivery, hosting), bound by confidentiality obligations
  • Your organization — venue administrators at clubs you belong to can see your booking activity and membership details for that venue
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of our users

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Booking records may be retained in anonymized form for reporting purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information through your account settings or by contacting us. You may opt out of PlayerDesk SMS programs at any time by texting STOP. You may opt out of non-essential emails via the unsubscribe link in those messages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
