Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PlayerDesk ("the Service"), operated at playerdesk.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. PlayerDesk is a DBA of Flying Banana Productions LLC. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

PlayerDesk is a court booking platform for tennis clubs and sports facilities. The Service allows venue operators to manage court schedules, memberships, and bookings, and allows members to reserve courts and receive notifications.

Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: interfering with other users, attempting to gain unauthorized access, submitting false information, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PlayerDesk and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. PlayerDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Member Authentication SMS Program

The following terms apply to the PlayerDesk Member Authentication SMS program.

Program Description

PlayerDesk sends service-related text messages for account signup verification, account sign-in, SMS two-factor authentication, and phone verification. Message types include:

  • Account signup verification codes - One-time codes sent when a user starts phone-based account creation.
  • Account sign-in codes - One-time codes sent during SMS login for eligible members.
  • SMS 2FA codes - One-time codes sent during SMS two-factor authentication setup and login challenges.
  • Phone verification codes - One-time codes sent to confirm that a member controls the phone number on file.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on how often you sign up, sign in, complete SMS 2FA, or verify your phone number.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

Opt-In & Consent

PlayerDesk uses two recurring website opt-in paths for members who want ongoing SMS sign-in and SMS 2FA codes:

  • Post-invitation phone enrollment - After a new member accepts an email invitation, PlayerDesk offers an optional SMS enrollment step for future sign-in and SMS 2FA codes.
  • Authenticated member settings opt-in - An existing member can enroll for recurring account-security SMS from the account settings page.

One-time SMS messages are sent only when a user directly requests or triggers a signup, login, SMS 2FA, or phone-verification flow in the product.

  • Signup verification requests - A user can request a one-time signup code by providing a phone number and starting SMS-based account creation.
  • SMS login for enrolled members - SMS login is available only after the member has a verified phone number and granted SMS consent.
  • SMS 2FA setup and login challenges - Members can receive a one-time SMS 2FA code during SMS 2FA setup or when completing a login challenge after SMS 2FA is enabled.
  • Phone verification requests - Authenticated users can request a phone verification code when adding or changing the number on file.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service. You can use PlayerDesk without opting in to recurring SMS.

Opt-Out

Reply STOP to unsubscribe from PlayerDesk text messages from this number at any time. A one-time confirmation message may be sent after you opt out. You can also disable recurring SMS enrollment in your account settings.

Keyword Opt-In

PlayerDesk does not offer first-time SMS enrollment by keyword. Members initially consent on the website for recurring account-security SMS. If a previously enrolled recipient later replies STOP, replying START may re-enable delivery for that number.

Supported Carriers

Account-security SMS messages are supported on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Booking-Notification SMS Program

The following terms apply to the PlayerDesk Member Booking Notifications program. This is a separate A2P/10DLC campaign from the auth SMS program above. Members may be enrolled in either, both, or neither program; consent to one never implies consent to the other.

Program Description

PlayerDesk sends member booking notifications by SMS for created, cancelled, and modified reservations, and for optional pre-reservation reminders configured by each venue. Messages may include a direct PlayerDesk link back to the member's authenticated venue page so the member can review or manage current bookings. Message types include:

  • Booking created notifications - Confirmation that a booking has been added to the member’s account.
  • Booking cancelled notifications - Confirmation that a booking has been cancelled.
  • Booking modified notifications - Confirmation that a booking’s time, court, or participants changed.
  • Booking reminder notifications - Up to two pre-reservation reminders, configured per venue.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by your booking activity at each venue and the venue’s reminder configuration (up to two reminders per booking).

Opt-In & Consent

Members opt in to booking-notification SMS from a dedicated section in account settings. Verifying a phone number under the auth-SMS program does not opt the member into booking-notification SMS — a separate consent grant is required.

  • Member settings booking-notifications opt-in - An authenticated member enables booking-notification SMS from the account settings page, separately from auth SMS. A verified phone number is a prerequisite, captured in the same settings page directly above the opt-in.

Members can also manage per-venue enrollment overrides in settings, opting in or out of booking notifications for each venue independently. Booking-notification SMS may also include a direct PlayerDesk link back to the member's authenticated venue page so the member can review or manage current bookings. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service.

Opt-Out

Reply STOP to unsubscribe from booking notifications at any time. A one-time confirmation message may be sent after you opt out. You can also disable booking-notification SMS in your account settings without affecting the auth-SMS program.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
